Company. Sur Energías Renovables has installed two biomass boilers with an output of 810 kilowatts to the new Esclat de Malla Hypermarket. This building has already been designed to be fully efficient and with the use of alternative energies. Thus, installed boilers have a yield of around 93% and are modular, since their operation is adaptable to each demand from 30% to 100% of nominal power. The fuel that will be used is the fragment from the forest biomass, although the boilers can also carry pellets, olive stones or almond shells. The shopping center has 10,000 square meters to heat and with these boilers that will operate from October to April, it is estimated that about 190 tons of wood chips will be consumed.
